Airports
Sonoma and Napa are conveniently located between three major airports, all within 60-80 minutes. Regularly scheduled transportation is available from San Francisco and Oakland airports to Sonoma. A rental car will be needed if arriving from Sacramento.
NEW SERVICE from Sonoma County airport!
Horizon Air now has service to Sonoma County airport in Santa Rosa (STS) from both Los Angeles (LAX) and Seattle (SEA). The airport is located on Airport Blvd. 4 miles north of Santa Rosa just off Hwy 101.
From San Francisco Airport (SFO):
- Take US-101 North toward San Francisco/San Bruno
- Take 380 West to San Bruno
- Take 280 North to San Francisco
- Take CA-1 North to 19th Ave./Golden Gate Bridge
- Follow signs to 101N and cross Golden Gate Bridge
- Take 101N through Marin County
- Take CA-37 East to Vallejo/Napa
- Take 121 N towards Napa
- Turn left onto CA-12/Broadway to the town of Sonoma
From Oakland International Airport (OAK):
- Take I-880 N to Richmond/San Rafael
- Turn off 1-880 at I-580 towards Richmond/San Rafael Bridge
- Take 1-580 across bridge and merge onto US 101 N
- Take US 101 N to CA-37 East to Vallejo/Napa
- Take CA-121 N to Sonoma/Napa
- Take 121 N towards Napa
- Turn left onto CA-12/Broadway to the town of Sonoma
From Sacramento Airport (SAC):
- Take I-5 / US99 South
- Take I-80 West
- Take Hwy12 Exit to Napa
- Turn right (N) at Hwy 12 & 29 to Napa
- Turn left (W) at Hwy 12/121 to Sonoma
- Merge R to Napa Road towards Sonoma
- Turn R at Broadway to Sonoma
